The Gusto has a wider paddle face which spreads the energy of the ball strike over a greater area of the paddle for a large “sweet spot” making it ideal for learners and improvers. This paddle has a traditional pickleball paddle handle length. The carbon fiber surface provides power by resisting deflection- meaning your ball is less likely to deflect in a direction you didn’t intend, leading to more successful shots. Compared to fiberglass and graphite paddles, the carbon fiber surface provides a five times greater stiffness-to-weight ratio. This makes the paddle lightweight and powerful without sacrificing control because of the 16mm core thickness (for touch and finesse). The painted surface adds particles to increase the roughness which allows for spin.
